In 1989 Steve Beckett and Rob Mitchell started up a small London based record label to push dance and house music.  20 years later their creation, Warp Records, has emerged as force in releasing records from new dance and indie artists around the globe.  To mark their 20 year anniversary, Warp has announced a number of anniversary shows all over the world in Paris, London, and Tokyo, all part of the “Warp20.”  They recognize two decades of music in New York next month when they bring “Warp20″ to Terminal 5 on 09.04.09.  Warp artists Flying Lotus, Battles, !!!, and Pivot all perform at the anniverary event.  Tickets are on-sale now for $27.50.
