Before you say, yea, another band starting with “The” give ‘Rich Girls’ a listen.  Normally the content on this site doesn’t get too in depth about new indie rock bands that every kid with a blog is raving about.  But put your assumptions away, The Virgins have a great sound though that feels disco infused with a touch of Brit-rock although all the group is New York born and bred.  The Virgins come and play at Bowery Ballroom on 12.12.08.  Tickets are $15, a good band to check out on a Friday night in one of the city’s best live music venues.  Show starts at 8:00 PM with opener Lissy Trullie; 18+.
