Brooklyn Bodega and Yume Music will present the second installment of the ‘Show and Prove’ competition, a contest to “find the illest opening act for the Brooklyn HipHop Festival 2009.” Brooklyn Bodega, the promotion team behind the annual festival at Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park will host the event at Public Assembly on Thursday (04.16.09). The April semifinalists fighting for the spot include Cymarshall Law, Mr. Beatz, and The Brown Bag All Stars with special guest Homeboy Sandman. Like most Bodega events there’s no cover but a $5 donation at the door is suggested.
