When I first posted the news about ?uestlove’s residency at Le Poisson Rouge, I said this would just be the begining of a ton of Roots related events and concerts going down throught NYC.  We’re now starting to get the treatment Philadelphia got for more than a decade with The Roots performing regularly now and the side projects rolling too.  They’ll present ‘The Jam,’ a series of at least ten different shows at Highline Ballroom.  Each show is sure to be special considering you can catch them in one of the city’s premier smaller clubs and no question lots of guests.  ‘The Jam’ with The Roots kicks off 03.05.09 with additional shows on 03.19.09, 03.23.09, 03.31.09 and continuing on different nights through April, May, and June.  With tickets at only $10 for these shows you can’t go wrong and you can probably afford to hit up a few of them.
