A special benefit concert to help build the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial in Washington, D.C. will be held 09.18.07 at Radio City Music Hall.  Musical guests include Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Garth Brooks, Carlos Santana, Robin Thicke, Bebe and Cece Winans, Jessye Norman, Queen Latifah, Babyface, Joss Stone and more.  Special guest presenters will be Muhammad Ali, Whoopi Goldberg, Jamie Foxx, Cuba Gooding Jr., Ben Affleck, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Shaq, Ludacris, Alicia Keys and more. 

Its kind of funny to see all these legends like Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin on the bill which would be expected for a dream concert, but then newcomers like Robin Thicke and Joss Stone who haven’t established a real reputation yet.  Either way, you are catching a ton of musical greats and its for a good cause which justifies the ticket price which ranges from $255-$1,004.  Tickets go on-sale to the public 07.30.07 at 9:00AM.  A presale has already begun which I can’t find a password for yet.  However, if you have an American Express card you can use it for the special AmEx presale.
