You already know that Mos Def will be performing at Carnegie Hall this Saturday (06.28.08). Backing Black Dante will be his regular crew; Robert Glasper, Derrick Hodge, Chris Dave, Casey Benjamin and a complete big band (oh yea, and Gil-Scott Heron). Following the show Revive Da Live will present an afterparty with the band members at (Le) Poisson Rouge on Bleecker St. The afterparty kicks off at 11:00 PM with an opening set from Igmar Thomas & The Cypher. The names on this afterparty should be a draw in its own but knowing the possibilities of who will probably end up making an appearance make it even more enticing (Remember Robert Glasper’s b-day or his Experiment?).
