Torae first started getting some coverage on here when he won the crowd over opening up at the Fat Beats CMJ showcase in ‘07. Fast forward almost two years later and his debut album Double Barrel is finally set for distribution with the Fat Beats label this June. The album is out 06.02.09 and produced entirely by Marco Polo. To celebrate the release Marco Polo & Torae will host a free in-store performance at Fat Beats the same day. Event starts at 6:00 PM.
