Jean Grae is set for a night of music and poetry at Joe’s Pub on 02.21.09 when she presents ‘Love Songs From a Post Modern Mixed Girl.’

“A one night and one time only performance of this kind from Jean, with band and Mr. Len on the 1’s and 2’s.  Stories and love songs from Jean’s catalog, as well as some unexpected cover tunes and special guests. No throwing your hands up or mosh pitting this evening, as hip hop goes a step beyond it’s adolescence and gets down to the most important thing.”

Sounds like an interesting show with a bit of a different take.  The Joe’s Pub environment well fit well with this also.  Tickets are $18 with the show starting at 11:00 PM.
