According to a press release put out yesterday, Jay-Z has announced the “Answer the Call” benefit event at Madison Square Garden on 09.11.09.  The concert will mark the eight year anniversary of 9/11 and all proceeds from the charity event will go to the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund.  This also happens to be the same day that Hov’s new album The Blueprint 3 is released.  Ticket pricing and information has not been released yet but a special presale will take place for Citicard holders before it goes on-sale to the public.  For those who can’t get their hands on tickets for the show you’ll still have the opportunity to see the full performance from home as FuseTV will be airing the concert live that night without commercials.  Check back soon for ticket information once announced.
