News of the second ‘Donuts Are Forever’ tribute came out in December, but you can basically forget all that.  The event is now taking place the night before on 02.08.08 at Southpaw and Rare Form has announced the lineup which will feature DJs Brainchild, OP!, Bill Sharp, Akalepse, and Detroit’s DJ House Shoes.  Phonte of Little Brother will play host for the night.  There is a $5 min. donation at the door although more is encouraged, all proceeds go to the J Dilla Project.  Should be a good event, especially with Houseshoes back in town, who is really fun to watch spin as he sticks strictly to vinyl.
