“Also on tap—Chico Mann, the brainchild of Antibalas’ guitarist, Marquitos Garcia, performs Latin-infused, synth-driven electro Afro-Funk. And to celebrate the Liquid Sound Lounge’s 15th anniversary, DJ Jeannie Hopper, joined by Groove Collective’s Jay Rodriguez, spins soul infused grooves.”
Please note that it’s actually $15 to get on the dancefloor, though people can hang out and dance on the plaza for free too.
Liquid Sound Lounge starts at 6, with Jay Rodriguez from Groove Collective sitting in on sac, then a dance lesson, Budos at 730 sharp, chico Mann at 9 sharp. There is a 10 pm curfew.
