Bi-Polar: A Thursday Residency with Ali Shaheed Muhammad

10.15.2008

One of the sad parts about the closing of Triple Crown was the loss of some cool residenciesalibipolar in Brooklyn with legendary DJs and producers. For now at least, one will be returning at a different club when Ali Shaheed Muhammad begins his Bi-Polar party, a Thursday residency in BK. The founding Tribe Called Quest member will be spinning every week now with DJ Uncle Mike at Deity Bar & Lounge. Cover is $5 at the door before midnight at $10 after with the party running all night.

Check out a recap and photos from one of Ali Shaheed’s final sets at Triple Crown in January.

You meant Thursday, but that’s hot man. Last night by chance, i got off the train and saw Eminem outside his book signing event. Didn’t anyone see how depressed he looked? It looked like he was thinking Biggies “suicidal thoughts”
