Amp Fiddler, who has worked with everyone from Parliament to Fishbone to J. Dilla has just released a new album and will be touring in support of it this March.  The new release Afro Strut features unheard tracks with many guest vocalists including ‘Faith’ with Raphael Saadiq and ‘If I Don’t’ with Corinne Bailey Rae.  His tour kicks off in two weeks starting out in San Francisco and will make its way to New York on 03.21.08 stopping at Highline Ballroom.  Joining Amp Fiddler will be Brooklyn electronica band Tortured Soul and Mocean Worker.  Tickets are $15; 9:00 PM show.
