…been hit up with a number of emails requesting info about the ticket situation for the Ludacris album release show tonight. Sorry, but still no ticket links whatsoever. Hot97’s webpage is still without info it doesn’t even sound like they are promoting it on the radio…the 2K Sports Bounce Tour next week with Q-Tip and The Cool Kids is being scaled down. Originally being held at Nokia Theatre, AEG has moved the show over to the smaller Highline Ballroom for the night. The lineup is still the same and so are the ticket prices…and in more Daptone news, Charles Bradley will be performing along with Menahan Street Band at their Southpaw show. Bradley’s voice compliments the band perfectly as demonstrated on recordings like ‘The World.’ Also, on 12.06.08 BAMcafé Live will be presenting their free Red Hot + Rio 2 event, BAM’s celebration of the music of Brazil. In honor of the celebrations music will be provided by The Budos Band who were there last month for The Takeover and play again two weeks later at Mercury Lounge.
