Pete Rock, Wale Show Additions

2.27.2008

As you know, Pete Rock will be headlining the Livendirect show tomorrow night (02.280.08) at Highline Ballroom along with Wale, Torae, and Kid Cudi.  Last minute tickets are still available but grab them soon.  Styles P and Lordz of the Underground have both just been added to this already solid lineup.  To top things off, Wale will be performing with a 9 piece Go-Go band joining him on stage.

show was pretty sick. Pete Rock laced T.R.O.Y. Wale did a good set and torae was pretty tight too. dude from Lords of the underground rocked hard, Jim Jones never showed and kid cudi was…not that great.
FYI styles and Lordz didnt fo their own sets just 1 or 2 tracks they did with pete rock a piece.

Yea, I didn’t know what to expect. And I have some pretty low expectations nowadays but considering it was a Pete Rock show with Wale i didn’t think they’d be letting anyone on stage that lacked the minerals and vitamins. Maybe if he was opening for Devon the Dude or some shit it wouldn’t have been as bad.

minerals and vitamins? whackness all over…
wales set was OK, hard to tell…torae did his thing…kid cudi brought crazy energy to the stage at highline, no live band, no celebrity surprises, just him and his dj and quality music

^^^^ kid cudi wrote that for sure ^^^^
