With a different lineup of shows in town each week it is easy to overlook the weekly parties that go down all over the city. In case you forgot, here’s another update on some good shit that goes down with DJs on a weekly basis that you should be checking:

• •Mondays: the series is almost over, but Giant Step brings in solid DJs every Monday to the Hudson Hotel for free afterwork parties
• Tuesdays: The Lost & Found. Daptone Records DJ The Honeydripper teams up with DJ Young Chris, Boogieman, and Jared spinning funk and soul and keeping it real with strictly 45’s all night. Goes down in Williamsburg every week with guests at Savalas on Bedford Ave.
• •Wednesdays: Lower Manhattan Dancehall Society Reggae night with DJs Max Glazer, Kenny Meez, DJ Gravy, Weed Kalogne. The Hump: 88 to 98, not only features the hottest jams from hiphop’s golden era, they also take the prize for best flyer art as getting the weekly flyer is always as fun as finding out who their guest DJ for the week is. The Hump is every Wednesday at Blue Owl with resident DJ Myles and DJ Lindsey.
• •Thursdays: Evil Dee spins at Sputnik. Bi-Polar with Ali Shaheed Muhammad at Deity Lounge
• •Fridays: Q-Tip & Rich Medina spin at Santos Party House, DJ Elle and Brooklyn Dawn do it up at Gallery Bar, and DJ Ayres, Nick Catchdubs, & Jubilee takeover Public Assembly to host Flashing Lights
• Saturdays: Blu Jemz keeps it moving at his ‘Good Times’ weekly party at 87 Lounge on Ludlow
• •Sundays: End of the Weak: weekly hipop shows with New York locals and special guests at Pyramid
• and don’t forget The Rub’s monthly residency at Southpaw the first Saturday night of every month & APT’s monthly DJ residencies including Premier & Eclipse, and Prince Paul, Bobbito, or many others
