By now you know that Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings are already playing shows this weekend at Nokia Theatre.  On Friday Menahan Street Band (below)will be the opening guest while for Saturday’s show Naomi Shelton & The Gospel Queens (above) take the slot.  Both groups put on a show together last year on 12.20.08 at Southpaw.  Pictures below from the December show where Menahan also brought out special guest vocalist Charles Bradley.
