Why? @ Knitting Factory 10.14.07

Why?, the strange and experimental indie group on Anticon played the Knitting Factory this past Sunday for a special $1 show.  The decision to play for next to nothing was a success as the Knitting Factory packed in a nice sized crowd to catch the Oakland trio.

Despite their share of technical issues before the set begun, Why? offered an intriguing live performance in the typical Anticon fashion, mixing genres and sounds to create an interesting mix.  Frontman Woni Wolf gets the sound started mixing keys with distortion pedals and mellow vocals while Josiah Wolf and Doug McDiarmid complete the sounds with the foundation of vibraphone, organ, percussion and bass.
